VEEDERSBURG — Margaret Ann Osborn, 54, Veedersburg, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 2001 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital of cancer. She was born Jan. 15, 1946 in Fountain County, the daughter of Arthur Rahm and Mary Knee. She married Gary Osborn Dec. 2, 1972 in Sterling. He survives. She had worked for Mike's Colonial Parkway, Covington; The Dairy House, Covington; and was a bus driver for Covington Community Schools. She was a member of Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene. She loved arts and crafts and reading her Bible. Survivors, besides the husband, include: a son, David (Linda) Huffman, Kensington, Ohio; two sisters, Mildred (Casey) Roarks and Frances (Junior) Shoemaker, both of Covington; two brothers, Archie Rahm, Georgetown, Ill. and John Rahm, Veedersburg; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kate Keller; two brothers, Alva and Robert Rahm; and a special step father, John Stout. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Thursday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veederburg, with the Rev. Edwin Retter officiating. Burial was in Coal Creek Cemetery, south of Covington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene. – jlr
